Atlanta Market Report

According to Roofstock.com, The Atlanta real estate market was red-hot last year, with median sales prices up by nearly 16% year-over-year. Job growth, a growing population, and housing affordability make Atlanta an attractive market for investing in rental property in 2021. The short-term rental property market especially has seen a huge increase in Atlanta, due not only to serving traditional vacation and relocation needs, but in service to the burgeoning film production community seeking professional accommodations while on location.

In the last 10 years, Atlanta has experienced some of the highest home appreciation rates of any community in the nation, much in part to a growing tech scene and consistent entertainment production. Atlanta real estate appreciated 83.09% over the last ten years, which is an average annual home appreciation rate of 6.23%, putting Atlanta in the top 10% nationally for real estate appreciation.
