Field Dinner- Quail Hill at Fireplace Farm // 8.28.22

Laurian Club has reserved a block of seats for Members at the Outstanding in the Field dinner at Fireplace Farm in East Hampton.

In the Summer, Fireplace Farm is a camp where city kids get back to the land and learn about organic farming. After Labor Day it’s a serenely quiet farm along Gardiner’s Bay and a stupendous spot to set the long table.

With the exception of OITF founder Jim Denevan, Chef Jason holds the title of most OITF field kitchen appearances – this event is his lucky 13th. Jason is as famous for his food as his friendly demeanor. He’s also deeply connected in the local farming community and good buddies with host farmers Paul Hamilton of Fireplace and Layton Guenther of Quail Hill – so this event is sure to be a jovial one.

*Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Quail Hill Farm, a stewardship project of the Peconic Land Trust, a private non-profit land conservation organization. Founded in 1983, the Peconic Land Trust works to conserve Long Island’s working farms, natural lands, and heritage.
